The Acadians who were deported to Louisiana bayous in the 18th century had to survive in this hostile universe through hunting and fishing. Today, many of these Métis Acadian descendants known as Cajuns live on these traditional fisheries. Les bayous fisheries goes out to meet these Louisiana fishermen to better understand the challenges, issues, risks and technical aspects of fishing crawfish, shrimp, oysters, crab, frog, catfish, turtle and alligator.
